Past sources of funding

Madulamoho has also received R1.6m from the Gauteng Partnership Fund for operational capacity for the period of 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2007. Madulamoho has been able to achieve phenomenal growth with this funding and on the strength of this will be applying for additionally funding to strengthen MHA.

Since the establishment of Madulamoho in October 2004 it received R734,000 for work-plan 2 and R338 000 for workplan-3/4 from the EU-SPSH. Further to this Madulamoho also received technical assistance from the same source not included in the grant.

Future sustainability

Madulamoho future sustainability depends on its ability to develop sufficient management fees from the units it has developed and/or manages. Currently it manages 205 units, with 402 units currently being developed for occupancy before the year-end. In the pipeline are an additional 600 units.
