The Kids Project

In the past two months, we have visited children at Cornelius House, Resdoc House and New Europa. To implement change and increase tenant engagement in sustaining Madulammoho’s vision, we have created a space to nurture ongoing dialogue with our young audience.

We have already visited two projects whereby kids gather together to gain awareness about the history of their project, house rules and the impact that their actions have on their home. Together, the children create a House Rules contract, where they exercise their problem solving skills and brainstorm solutions to pressing issues such as vandalism. This exercise is strives to encourage children to develop a sense of respect and ownership in their surroundings.
