Training Projects

During the past three years the Trust has made great strides with its Training.

The valuable contribution made by US-AID in 2000 that supplied the Trust with furniture and equipment for our training room continues to benefit all trainees. Our Training includes both general life-skills training for all residents and specialised training to a selected few residents already involved in running their own businesses in our Job Creation Centre.

Since September 2002 we have been able to roll out five training programmes focused on entrepreneurship. These include:

· Train the Trainer

· Leadership skills

· Basic Business Skill

· Basic Sales Course

· Advanced Sales Course

We are currently in the process of registering the Trust as a Service Provider and Host Employer, with a view to having our trainer and course material accredited.
